How Saunders Appliance Repair Got Started
A Huntington family business built on the simple idea that a repair technician should tell you the truth.
Saunders Appliance Repair started the way most good local businesses do: one technician, one truck, and a growing list of neighbors who wanted the same person back the next time something broke. Nearly twenty years later, Joey Saunders still does the diagnosing and repairing himself, and the business is still family-owned and operated out of Huntington.
What changed is the range of work. Along with the everyday Whirlpools and GEs that fill Cabell County kitchens, we became the shop in the valley willing to take on Sub-Zero, Wolf, Cove, Viking, and Thermador — the built-in and professional units most local companies decline. That's why the coverage zone now stretches from Kentucky to Charleston, with grouped trips to Lexington, Cincinnati, and Columbus for the jobs nobody else will touch.
